Tea and Biscuits

Back when I was in primary and secondary school I used to enjoy animes and mangas. One particularly stuck with me and lead me on the path of art. I created a character to be a part of the Naruto universe, Shiko, who I'm still very fond of an ocassion I like to revisit and draw her to see how my skills have improved. On the left you can see my original character and on the right a canon character called Hinata Hyuuga.

This scene was inspired by the movie titled Naruto - The Last with some creative liberties taken. I changed the colour-palette of the room, painted a completely different background and added a few new elements to the mix. On the top left corner you can see a Japanese style wind chime and the tea set was inspired by the kintsugi (gold repair) technique.
